the little bank robber

We went in for the 3D scan and he did great for the first minute or so. Then all of a sudden he was so mad. He did not like it anymore. It was so bad that we had to take a break and give it a second try. They kept telling me to sit on the left side. I guess they really didn't want my help or interference. They eventually needed me to step in and calm him down, but he just didn't want to cooperate. It took about five people to get a good shot of him. This machine is amazing. She showed me the image on the screen. She was able to turn his head every which way as if he was on the screen. Wow. So, his helmet will be here on June 1st. In the mean time we're trying to enjoy him without his helmet. He'll have to wear it 23 hours a day.

Here he is a happy little bank robber.

Here he doesn't want to be a bank robber anymore.

  2. Yup. I kept trying to tell myself this is nothing compared to what he's been through, but it was still hard. I think it's getting harder because he is more aware of everything now that he's older. I'm not looking forward to the surgery.

  4. Emily, we don't know how long he will have to wear it. It just depends on his growth.
