I am a mother of three: Alyssa, Samantha, and Josiah. They are 7, 5 and 3 years old. I am homeschooling and I've been married for 9 years to the man of my dreams.
so you DO still go to tj's. :) i just learned about their short expiration periods - has me down on them a little bit after being a super-fan. so let's see - sparkling apple, chinese chicken salad with some sesame dressing (not green street dressing??), turkey, green beans, and... something else at the end? did you cook EVERYTHING?? i think it's nice that you don't have to rush from one family to another this time. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Grace: No way! Everyone chipped in. Yio fan by my MIL, Evelyn did the green beans, my mom made this sweet potato casserole and the drunk turkey, I made creamed corn and the salad - although Evelyn helped me throw that together, too. Dessert-Evelyn brought fondue, I made strawberry banana jello cheesecake and chocolate banana bread, MIL brought a cake from their bakery. What about you?
i was thinking there had to be creamed corn, but i didn't see it. :) all of us were sick, though dale has just gotten more sick over the past few days (he must be on the tail end), so dale actually bought a bunch of stuff the night before, brined and roasted a turkey, made mashed potatoes, and green beans. we forgot the stuffing that we had bought. oh, and store bought pie. i turned the turkey bones into soup and then zhou that conley and i ate for days afterwards and dale just finished leftovers tonight. :) sweet potato casserole sounds interesting.
Happy Thanksgiving! Looks like a yummy feast!
