Happy 2nd Birthday, Josiah!

This was my first attempt at a non feminine party. Josiah's love or obsession with cars was the the driving force behind this. It was a rainy day, so it was a good thing we decided not to rent a jumper for this party. All the activities/crafts/favors were perfect for a rainy day.

Steph helped me with this freezer paper idea and let me use all of her supplies. Thank you, Steph!!! We pre cut and ironed these puppies on to the shirts so that all the kids had to do was paint. Parent participation was highly recommended!

A lot of you have asked if Josiah had a good time at his party....
He loved his strawberries...
and he was so happy to see Lindsey....
After lunch we watched a slideshow

sang happy birthday and had some red velvet cupcakes for our little two year old!
Josiah didn't eat that much, but he was pretty interested in it.

The kids then got to choose two wooden cars to paint.

I love Nicholas' face here!

I think the dads had fun, too! Here are some of the finished cars.Lindsey really enjoyed being held by Tabitha.
The kids got to take home some race car shaped crayons.Thank you, Judy for making the bunting!Kayla's shirt turned out pretty great! The next day, the Exodus kids all wore their car shirts to church!Josiah, we are so blessed to be your parents. We love you SO much!!!

  6. Thanks, Everyone! I think I'm still recovering from it! It might be due to the fact that it's so close to Thanksgiving. In any case, now on to Christmas!
