Day 5

Today was a difficult day. He seemed to be getting better with his feedings, but now he screams whenever we put the bottle in his mouth. My only solution has been to put him in the sling and squeeze the bottle. But I can't see much this way. The bottle needs to be loosened and I end up dripping a lot of the milk onto us. This has happened too many times. Frustrations. Please pray for us. Pray that tomorrow will be a better day.

Ali and Sammie told me that their baby doll is going to have surgery. Ali said, "We're waiting for her surgery. Her surgery is a long time away. It's going to be next Wednesday. Her hand is like this (closed in a fist) and it won't open. The doctor is going to fix it so she can open her hand. And she's going to have surgery on her mouth. (She points to her mouth and how it's open) Then she can close her mouth." Sammie says, "Yeah, my baby is going to have surgery."
