Even though our kids don't really know what winter is. Let me give you an example. It's Feb. 4th and we wore tanktops and sandals because we are incredibly blessed with beautiful weather here in L.A. Ali asked me if it's still winter. Yeah. Uh - yes. It's still winter. Back in December the city decided to haul in some snow for our kids. Fake snow because we don't get any! I bet ya'll don't have "Sunny days." How would you bring the sun in? I know. We sure are spoiled with good weather.
Here are the kids standing in front of the tent area of snow. We are waiting to get in because they need to rake up the snow every 10-15 minutes!
But as you can see, the kids are thrilled to play with snow!
Snow day included a free train ride through the parking lot. Doesn't quite go with the theme, but we'll take it!
On the other side of the community center was some sledding! Climb up a few steps and you get to sled down with your friends!
Sorry, Lina. Sammie was a little too lovey dovey around your neck!
Our friends: Tati and Toby happened to be there, too!
They even let all three Chang girls ride together!

teresa, that looked like SO MUCH FUN!!! :) that was a LOT more snow play than we got over here this year. and...i think i'll take that kind of snow play over our type of snow plays any day. haha. at least you can play and then go right back into the sunshine and green grass, instead of muddy slush! :)
