The second night we were all invited over to the Lees for homemade kahlua pork and chicken long rice. Yum! Yup, 13 kids again! The kids loved riding these plasma cars around and around their staircase.
On Friday, the Youngs came over to the Yap residence and we had a fun homeschooling day together. It was so great to have fellow homeschoolers! Wendy Y. came up with the idea of making soap! We tied it together with being a fragrant offering to the Lord. And while we were waiting for everything to be set up, Samuel had some fun with the camera! He is so funny!
Step1: Break up glycerin
Step 2: Melt
Step 3: add coloring and mix
Step 4: Pour into pan
Step 5: after it's hardened use cookie cutter shapes to cut out the soap. In honor of Valentine's Day we cut out hearts.
Saturday was Luke's basketball game day. The Yaps kept saying that it wasn't that big of a deal, but we all wanted to be there. I asked Luke if we could go to his game and he said, "Sure!" Then I asked if we could make him a sign and he smiled and said, "Sure!" So, here are the kids holding the "Go, Luke!" sign.
Jesse was so proud of his big brother that he ran and hugged him! I was thrilled to be able to catch this moment!
One very proud family! Luke made two baskets and one last second shot!!! It was pretty amazing! Gooooooo Luke! He said he could hear us cheering him on!
