The best Thanksgiving ever!

Oh, this year was the very best Thanksgiving! To think what we were doing just a year ago is truly amazing. This year we were able to celebrate it at our own home for the very first time. My mom usually does this HUGE gathering at lunch and I have never understood how much work goes into these get togethers. She does such a wonderful job that Thanksgiving has become my all time favorite holiday!

This year it was oh so sweet. How could we not be overwhelmed with gratitude to our faithful Father? All it takes is one glance at Josiah and we are reminded of His goodness. It was our first time celebrating Thanksgiving with such an intimate group. This year with all that has happened it was so nice to be in the company of those who it had hit the hardest. Each of us had gone through this year our own ways and here we were celebrating on the other side together. There was such joy in our hearts tonight. It was really nice.

Thank you, God for carrying us through so much this year. Our hearts are forever changed. You have shown me a deep, deep love. A love that I never knew. Oh, how I love you! Thank you for our dear family. Each person is such an amazing gift from you!

Here is Josiah with his Great grandmother (Azhou). She hasn't seen him since he first came home from the hospital. When he was in the hospital, she had a birthday. She refused to celebrate because Josiah was in the NICU. She just couldn't celebrate. Now look! There is so much to celebrate!

Josiah and Grandma Ko (Ama).
Ali and her favorite Jojo. Tonight Ali and Sammie took turns riding on their Jojo's shoulders while the other one chased the "big monster!" What fun! Too bad I didn't get pictures of that!

On top of everything, the turkey was the best one ever! My dad took care of it this year. Mom said they injected it with beer. Ali and Sammie both said their favorite food from tonight was the turkey. They haven't stopped talking about it! Ali asked if we can have the same food next Thanksgiving and every Thanksgiving after that! She said, "You know the turkey, the corn you made, and the jello cheesecake!" Yup, there it is again. The jello cheesecake! We all love it.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us!
Yes, that is a mustache on Sammie's Pilgrim boy! And, yes Ali's Pilgrim girl has pink hair!
