The next morning we rode the Metro rail for the first time! Sammie and Josiah were really excited. We pass a station twice a week on the way to Josiah's speech therapy, so they were very eager to ride one.
Allston and Branford
Josiah was taking everything in
I had to stand up and hold the stroller, so this is a bit close!
He is relaxed and enjoying it now.
"Mommy! Choo choo train!"
I think Conley liked it, too!
In order to build the metro rail, they dug through the ground and found these bottles, broken pieces of China, etc. They made a little sculpture out of them!
There was a little aquarium at our stop.
On their last day, we got to visit the firestation again! Thanks to Engineer Chen - who is not related to the Chen family - we got to ride a fire engine! This time Josiah was thrilled!
My only picture of him with his firefighter jacket on. He didn't want it on for very long.
Josiah sitting in the fire engine right after our ride.
Engineer Chen let them spray their own fire hoses! A dream come true for this junior firefighter!
Grace, Branford, and Engineer Chen spraying the fire hose.
Sammie kept picking Allston up and he actually liked it!
Look at this face!

What an amazing experience! We love Engineer Chen! Thank you for the fabulous fire station and engine experience.
Conley celebrated his half birthday in firefighter style.
His brothers are so adorable!
We're so glad we got to spend time with you guys. We can't wait to hang out with you again!
What great fun with the ABCD&G Chen! Adorable, adorable! Who knew public transit could be so much fun? Now, fire trucks is another thing. Way cool to have an Fireman Chen uncle! :)
