We were so happy to be able to celebrate Jesse's birthday with him this year! Jesse is such a sweet boy. He is one who is grateful, kind, thoughtful, and caring. He is a really good friend. We miss you, Jesse!
The night before the girls headed over to the Lee's for their first slumber party ever! So, the boys hung out at the Yap's for dinner, movie, and some ice cream! Not bad, eh?

The next morning we all headed over to the nearby park. It was such a beautiful day in KC! The native KCers kept mentioning how beautiful it was, so I knew they didn't get this kind of weather much! Keith and Jonathan played tag with the kids and you can even spot Jonathan using his own daughter as a shield from Berea!
Sammie climbed this tower of ropes with Noah and was very proud of herself for making it to the top.
Then we headed back to the Yap residence for some homemade soups, pizza, and cupcakes!

wow teresa!! thanks so much for posting these! your pictures are beautiful! and you were so nice to write what you did about jess. but as you well know...he is a real kid--sometimes super sweet and often times not so angelic. that smile ALMOST makes you forget, though. =)
