Sammie is 4!

To celebrate Sammie's birthday we went to the Huntington Library and Liz and Lina met us there!
They surprised Sammie with a special birthday balloon and cake! We ate lunch first. Look at Lina's beautiful smile!Then we headed over to the Children's Garden. It was Lina's first time there.

Lina wanted to show Sammie the fountain. They had a lot of fun "helping" it by splashing water into the little river.
The three girls mostly played together while Josiah did his own thing.
Yup. He did this quite a few times. All three girls were completely dry on top and Josiah was well...not dry. =0)
I like this one. I call it "determination."

That night we headed off the cheesecake factory for her birthday. Here are some shots of Edison and Josiah. Do you think they look alike?

Then later that same night Wendy, Amanda, and Nicole came by for another birthday surprise! Wendy bought Sammie a Wild Olive Tee Shirt! If you don't know what that is, click on the link. Stephanie from Ni Hao Ya'll is one of the founders of this company and I love everything about it! The four girls and Josiah enjoyed some milk and homemade snickerdoodles!
We are so blessed to have such good friends!
